Part two
The only people that would give any credibility to what I have said in these last nine pages are those that
want to be delivered from a life style of bondage as Paul and I myself had for a number of years. There are many in the body
of Christ in bondage to drugs, homosexuality, and many other addictions to the flesh that I am grieved to say, do not want
to admit to their addictions in wanting to change their life style as Paul did in recognizing what a wretched man he was and
the pain he was experiencing. It is a great concern for me when I meet people like this because; it reminds me of the Old
Testament story of the three and one half million Israelites who wandered in the wilderness for forty years and never entered
the promised land of what blessing God wanted to bestow on them. Only Caleb and Joshua of the original group entered in. All
of their generation died in the desert and even though they did, God still fed and clothed them in spite of their bondage
and lack of faith in Him.
David the King was a man after God’s own heart because; he walked with a humble spirit in asking God
to check him out and see if there was anything in his life that was causing harm to himself or others. I have never been able
to understand born again believers who would throw their lives away on trivial fleshly pursuits and spit on the cross of Jesus
sacrifice for the purpose of delivering us from our sin damaged nature. I would rather be a child of God and be totally accepted
by Him in Him wanting to meet my every need and, give me the privilege to sit in the throne room of my Father and enjoy His
company is something I have sought after all of my life even before I became born again.
The only answer I have come up with as to peoples bondages is; they are not God seekers because; they have
no vision of who they are and what they can be by living the abundant life that God ordained. This is taking place because;
the devil has put a supernatural spell on God’s children and they have to be delivered to have their spiritual eyes
and ears opened to hear and see God in their lives. With out a Godly vision of who you are and what God wants to bestow on
His children, there is no prayer life and wonderment of asking God how He wants to move in our lives and the changes that
have to be made in us to receive His favor. Scripture tells us that our steps are to be ordered by the Lord. Our steps can
not be ordered where God’s children have no vision of God’s calling and purposes for their lives.
For many of you who are reading this; this next statement will be hard to comprehend. A person can be a born
again believer; be addicted to all kinds of malevolent behavior because; they are still living under the curse of the sin
principle which is alive and active in their being. However, when they physically die in that condition they will
still make heaven their home for eternity. That is the freedom of what God’s perfect love and acceptance says to people
He died for at the cross because; it is His unending love that mediates a new covenant for us between Himself and God the
Father as He continually says “ Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing.”
When one has the sin principle at work in their lives; they never come to allow God to envelope them with
His loving Spirit and they stay addicted to a life style because; they have never really tasted and experienced that the Lord
is good. There are millions who sit in born again churches of today that love God but only according to their own understanding
and the sin principle is being preached from the very pulpits that they are sitting under causing the sin principle
to flourish in their lives.
Just last week in flicking channels they had a worship service going on in a highly televised evangelical
preachers church and they were singing what I call mood music of woo is me and the words of the song were them telling God
how unworthy they were in God’s sight. This is nothing more then a self pity spirit that appeals to the sin principle
entity that is trying to keep the body of Christ at bay and impotent. God help us to see this deception and
deal with it
according to the word of God.
Unless the born again church is ingesting the word of God which is the medicine of the Holy Ghost like taking
vitamins for our body, a person stays in a uneasy relationship with in them selves and, the peace of God which exceeds our
own understanding can not act as a guard over our mind and heart where the issues of life are formed and acted on. We have
many ministries calling for fasting and many praying curses off of Christians and many other things. There is a time for all
that and these things serve a purpose however, if God’s people are going to stay free from living under the curse; they
must have a passion and be disciplined and know with in themselves what a pleasure it is to meditate on the word of God night
and day which will keep them free from the sin principle staying alive and active in their mind and heart.
In Heb. Chapter 6 Paul describes the type of walk we should be having with the Holy Ghost when he states
this. “ It is impossible to restore and bring again to repentance those who have been once for all enlightened,
who have consciously tasted the heavenly gift and have become sharers of the Holy Spirit, And have felt how good the Word
of God is and the mighty powers of the age and world to come, If they then deviate from the faith and turn away from
their allegiance it is impossible] to bring them back to repentance, for because, while, as long as they nail upon the cross
the Son of God afresh [as far as they are concerned] and are holding [Him] up to contempt and shame and public
disgrace. For the soil which has drunk the rain that repeatedly falls upon it and produces vegetation useful to those for
whose benefit it is cultivated partakes of a blessing from God. But if that same soil persistently bears thorns and thistles,
it is considered worthless and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned.
People who have the sin principle controlling their lives have a continual mentality of putting Jesus up
on the cross because, they do not recognize that his love has not changed and He continually lives with the conviction that
as long as we are our worst enemy, He has the attitude of going to the cross even though we do not understand that we can
approach His presence with out shame. God’s love endures long and never ends.
The majority of born again believers
hope that this is true but they really don’t believe it.
A person who deviates from the faith is being controlled by the sin principle. (Most don’t really want
to.) As long as the body of Christ is not taught with the anointing of God and able to define how this entity is at work to
immobilize God‘s children, they can not be restored and their lives become a reproach and disgrace as to their witness
of Christ in their lives.
The rain
that Paul is talking about is the blessing and favor of God and he is telling us that God gives it to us because He wants
us to prosper as our soul prospers as I have stated in this article.
The only reason we do not receive God’s favor and our lives are producing thorns and thistles, which
is considered worthless and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned is because; the true kingdom of God’s word
has been substituted in most assemblies with hype and they have manipulated the word of God to fit their own agendas.
Mingled seed and the word of God is being planted in the hearts of born again believers and the show of religious endeavors
goes on as usual. Let me again remind you that Adam and Eve were captured by this sin entity in the garden and the consequences
that they suffered is still going on when their curse is operating in God children today.
In Gen
. 3:17-18 God tells Adam and Eve what the consequences would be by them eating from the Tree of the knowledge
of Good and evil and became under control by the sin principle when he says this. “ To the woman He said, I will
greatly multiply your grief and your suffering in pregnancy and the pangs of childbearing; with spasms of distress you will
bring forth children. Yet your desire and craving will be for your husband, and he will rule over you. And to Adam He said,
Because you have listened and given heed to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, saying,
You shall not eat of it, the ground is under a curse because of you; in sorrow and toil shall you eat of the fruits of it
all the days of your life. Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth for you, and you shall eat the plants of the field. In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread until you return to
the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you shall return.”
First of all, people who are not born again are living under this curse and unless they accept Jesus Christ
as their savior; they will live on this earth separated from the love of God and go to their grave and spend an eternity in
hell. The thing that really grieves the Holy Ghost is the fact that; a large majority of His people the born again spirit
filled favored of God (His Children); are still living under this curse. It is only God’s patience and love for us and
the miracle that took place in us when we became a new creation in Christ after we became born again that causes God to be
constantly at work in our lives whether we know or believe how He does this because; the Holy Ghost is constantly at work
burning up all the things that are ungodly that are being produced in our lives in our inner makeup due to our ignorance from
not being able to really experience a true loving relationship with God’s love and holding power.
The only reason for this is because of being ignorant of God’s word. If we do not know
how to sit in heavenly places with God now while we are still in our earthly body; the only thing left is for us to be living
under the sin principle and in bondage to the curse. Let’s try to define how this sin entity principle works in our
lives.
In Cor. 10:1-12 Paul was trying to make the Corinthian church aware of an ignorance of how they were trying
to build their relationship with God and because of this; they were being misled by the devil. He states. “ For
I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, that our forefathers were all under and protected by the cloud in
which God’s Presence went before them, and every one of them passed safely through the Red Sea, And each one of them
(
allowed himself) also to be baptized into Moses in the cloud and
in the sea they were thus brought under (obligation to the Law,) to Moses, and to the covenant, consecrated and set
apart to the service of God];
And all of them ate the same spiritual supernaturally given food, and they all drank the same spiritual supernaturally
given drink. For they drank from a spiritual Rock which followed them produced by the sole power of God Himself without natural
instrumentality], and the Rock was Christ.
Nevertheless, God was not pleased
with the great majority of them, for they were overthrown and strewn down along the ground in the wilderness. Now these things are examples (warnings and admonitions) for us not to desire or crave or
covet or lust after evil and carnal things as they did. Do not be worshipers of false gods as some of them were, as it is
written, The people sat down to eat and drink the sacrifices offered to the golden calf at Horeb and rose to sport (to dance
and give way to jesting and hilarity). We must not gratify evil desire and indulge in immorality as some of them did—and
twenty-three thousand [suddenly] fell dead in a single day! We should not tempt the Lord [try His patience, become a trial
to Him, critically appraise Him, and exploit His goodness] as some of them did—and were killed by poisonous serpents;
Nor discontentedly complain as some of them did—and were put out of the way entirely by the destroyer (death).
Now these things befell them by way of a figure [as an example and warning to us]; they were written
to admonish and fit us for right action by good instruction, we in whose days the ages have reached their climax (their consummation
and concluding period).
Therefore let anyone who thinks he stands [who feels
sure that he has a steadfast mind and is standing firm], take heed lest he fall into sin.”
As long as these people made a decision to follow Moses and follow his lead; this caused them to be safe
and received God’s favor. These people made a willful decision to follow Moses example in following God. Even though
they followed Moses lead it said God was grieved over them because; they could not tap into God’s favor because of their
non belief. These were the ones that wandered in the wilderness for forty years and died never entering the
promise land that God promised. The whole generation died off and only Caleb and Joshua of that fallen generation entered
in with the new generation that had been raised up. Now we are talking and using this as an example of a story of a physical
destination that God was sending them to.
Our wilderness in which we live in is our daily walk in our different arenas of life. David the King in Psalms
23:4 states this. “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil. For thou
art with me; your rod and staff will comfort me.” We must guard ourselves and really know that we are following God and not other
gods. A person who worships other god’s is an Idolater.
The Greek Concordance interpretation for idolater is one who feels in an obligated life style actively envolved
in menial tasks and paying religious homage and servitude that gives the outward appearance of the anointing of the Holy Ghost
however, it only gratifies the flesh and strengthens the curse we were born with. When we get side tracked and focus our attention
on our behavior and faults we become an idol worshiper unto ourselves. This tells me that the buck starts with
me because; only I can give the Holy Ghost’s permission to empower me to change and kill the sin principle in me; so
I can walk in freedom in God’s kingdom. Our biggest enemy is ourselves and when we come into submission to the Holy
Ghost’s leadings; it is easy to conquer the many giants in the land that we encounter daily. It is only when we submit
to the Holy Ghost that a born again believer can experience God’s rod and staff comforting them in their
wilderness walk.
From the Hebrew Concordance rod means; that a person has been grafted into a family setting and has
become a child of God and since he has become their Father it gives Him the right to chastises them because; God chastises
every one that he loves. Now, most Christians do not realize the difference between a loving chastisement verses being
condemned. The Spirit of God which lives in us is the spirit of chastisement and we need to understand that; we are
to live in this spirit as we breathe air every day. It’s like the water of the womb we lived in when we were in our
mother’s womb which nourishes the fetus as it grows to maturity. We must have a deep spiritual discernment by the Holy
Ghost of our oneness that happened to us at our second birth. We are so united in Christ that we are to live not in a faith
of who Jesus is but to live by the very faith of Jesus Himself as He did when He walked the earth. Paul says; “It
is no longer I who live but
the life of Christ who lives in me.” This tells me that we need to understand how to surrender to Christ and not stay in bondage to the
sin principle that wants to rob us of the inheritance God our Father gave us; when we were adopted into His family. When we
acknowledge and walk in God’s Spirit and not the sin principle spirit; we are endowed with Kingly authority and as royalty
as God’s children.
From the Hebrew Concordance staff represents a life of sweetness like a mother suckling her child
from her breasts and nourishing the child in her arms. We must learn how to rest from our laboring in trying to impress God
of what we can do or do acts of penance and obligated servile actions because we have never learned and understood what and
how humility works in our lives. Let’s remind our selves of Jesus humility who is the author and finisher of our faith
walk; which states in Philippians 2:5-13 “ Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which
was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility: Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of
God possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God, did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly
grasped or retained, But stripped Himself of all privileges and rightful dignity, so as to assume the appearance of a servant
slave, in that He became like men and was born a human being.
And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself still further and carried His obedience
to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross! Therefore, because He stooped so low God has highly exalted Him and
has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, That in at the name of Jesus every knee should must bow, in
heaven and on earth and under the earth, And every tongue frankly and openly confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is
Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions, so now, not only [with the enthusiasm
you would show] if I was there with you but much more because I am absent, work out cultivate, carry out to the goal, and
fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of
conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ).
Not in your own strength
for it is God who is all the
while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good
pleasure and satisfaction and delight. Do all things without grumbling and faultfinding and complaining [against God] and
questioning and doubting [among yourselves], That you may show yourselves to be blameless and guileless, innocent and uncontaminated,
children of God without blemish (faultless, un-rebukable in the midst of a crooked and wicked generation spiritually perverted
and perverse, among whom you are seen as bright lights stars or beacons shining out clearly in the dark world.”
There is much revelation to be discovered here in these verses. Let me first say that; when we function in
this sin principle and have become a slave to it; our reasoning and judgments focus our attention on the outward appearance
of things and our judgments do not reason with the mind of Christ that we received when we became born again. When Jesus walked
the earth in the flesh; His every action was based on an inner decrement and He was able to read the hearts of the people.
We who are God’s sons and daughters have the same Holy Ghost discernment as he did and we must be taught how to use
it.
With out walking in this type of Godly wisdom causes us to be in bondage and become a slave of our fleshly
cravings which represents a pig pen mentality in the abasing of ourselves and others in outward behavior being manipulated
by an inner entity of ungodly thinking. It is like the spirit at work on the Jerry Springer show exposing peoples abused and
embarrassing behavior and this is what Jesus died for on the cross to deliver all of mankind from that being, living in a
pig sty environment. Now hear me on this. Unless the born again believer
realizes how the whole intent of the devil is to keep them in a thinking mentality of them being ashamed and loathing themselves;
they will not be able to identity evil and run from the very appearance of it.
To be delivered from the curse of the sin principle one must have the life style of feeding
at the Lord’s Table and walking in obedience to Math. 6:33 which states. “But seek aim at and strive after
first of all
His kingdom
and His righteousness His way of doing and being right, and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.” We
must sit under ministries that know the foundation that must be laid if God’s children are to go on and complete the
mission that God sent them to earth to do as he sent Jesus into the world empowered by the Holy Ghost because; we are the
same as Jesus, one of God’s sons and daughters. Continued in part three.
