The word sanctified in the Greek
is hagiazo: meaning, made holy, blameless, and innocent and being fostered. When some one is fostered; some
one provides a child with care and upbringing through a relationship with feelings and thoughts with a living friendship being.
Scripture tells us that our spirit and God's Spirit becomes one.
Paul the
Apostle states this in Romans 15:17-18. "God has made me a minister of Christ to the Gentile people.
I act in a priestly service of the gospel (the good news) of God, in order that the sacrificial offering of the Gentiles may
be acceptable to, consecrated (sanctified) and made holy by the Holy Spirit. In Christ Jesus I have
legitimate reason to glory in my work for God; because of what I have accomplished through Christ
Jesus. Therefore I will not venture or (presume) to speak any works except what Christ has
actually done through me as an instrument in His hands to win obedience
from the Gentile People, by word and deed. My preaching has been accompanied with the power of signs and wonders and
all of it is by the power of the Holy Spirit." There
can be no signs and wonders if a person does not walk in their sanctified state.
Paul was effective in his walk with God because; he knew how to surrender himself to the leading
of the Holy Ghost and let Him use his body as a physical sacrifice to be used by God. When we have any mingled seed
doctrines sown in our heart that misrepresents our sanctified state, it stops us from surrendering to the righteous Spirit
of Christ and our fostering by God as His children gets interrupted or may never be able to take place.
The true gospel is called good news. It becomes corrupted
news when rules and regulations are attached to it with an obligated spirit of do's and don'ts. Paul's
effectiveness was because he was speaking prophetic words that were anointed by the Holy Ghost because; he had learned how
to flow in the righteous sanctified state of Christ.
These Gentiles were
offering up a sacrifice of their entire nature to God because; they were growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus
Christ and not in their own private interpretation of scripture. That was because; Paul was preaching only the good
news gospel of grace. It is us experiencing God's grace (His favor that we do not have to earn)
which gives us the revelation knowledge of God's thoughts and the true intenti0ns of His heart. Experiencing God's
grace is what makes us become violent in the Spiritual world and by experiencing it, we hear God the Father telling us,
"You are my beloved children in whom I am well pleased."
With out having the Holy Ghost actually living in your being; it
is impossible to have this idea that God is well pleased with you. Our passionate spiritual relationship
with the Holy Ghost is how God the Father fosters His children.
If signs and wonders are going to follow us as we mature in Christ; the truth of the grace gospel
must be planted deep with in our subconscious mind and personality and become a part of our actual make up. The scripture
tells us the Word of God became flesh and lived amongst us. Jesus is the word of God in the flesh because, He was God
the Fathers first born again Son. God is a spirit; who took on human form for the first time, with a physical body in
Jesus.
God takes on human flesh and form every
time a person becomes born again.
As we meditate on the
word of God day and night, the Holy Ghost instructs us on a one to one basis and we constantly walk in the presence of the
Lord. This causes the word of God to continually become a part of the very fiber and make up of our lives. This
must be a supernatural miracle relationship with God; just as we had the first miracle of becoming born again through the
sperm of God the Father.
Paul tells us in 1Cor. 1:30. " It is
from God that we have this new life in Christ Jesus, whom God made to be our wisdom from Him, ( that is how he revealed the
knowledge of His divine plan of salvation previously hidden and our righteousness was revealed to us and thus; this is what
makes us upright and puts us in right standing with God and consecrated ( sanctified) which makes us pure and holy: and our
redemption is what provides us with our ransom from a eternal penalty for sin."
I hope you are beginning to really see that; Christ Jesus is the total essence of the aroma
of God and it is only through this symbiotic relationship with Him that can empower us to become violent as a warrior in our
quest to participate in God‘s Kingdom. I have said this thousands of times and before I go home to see the Lord
face to face; I will say it another thousand of times. There is no other name under heaven given to us where
by we can become born again and spend eternity with God. No denomination can get you there. Buddha or Mohammed
can't get you there, or all the good works you can conjure up will not get you there. Once you become born again
and see the kingdom of God; you must be sitting under anointed teachers of God's word who know how to instruct you in
your sanctified state. We will talk about the word redemption in part three. A
person who is redeemed is going through a restoration process and being delivered from their fallen nature that they were
born with.
Again; it is as we walk in the understanding
of our sanctified state that empowers us to become violent in God's kingdom. A
person walking in their sanctified state; doesn't hide and live in denial from their true feelings and are able to approach
the courts of God cheerfully and extremely thankful with no guilt because; they are not ashamed of them selves and feel unworthy.
I have met far too many born again believers that believe one way in their heart but their outward manifestations of their
feelings do not come into agreement with their believing system.
Walking in our
sanctified state in the Holy Ghost; is what cleanses us from a sin conscience mentality. Whenever we sit under teachings
that harp on us being still a sinner and we have to focus on repenting, repenting and repenting, our sainthood and how God
looks at us is not being fortified and the good news of the gospel becomes corrupted. Again this is not a popular
stand to take in many circles however; again I am not trying to be popular but violent in proclaiming the word of God.
It is only as the Lord Christ Jesus is lifted up in our services and in our daily walk using him as our example for all situations
that; the church will overcome the wiles of the devil coming against the world and God‘s children.
John the Apostle tells us in Hebrews 12:11, "We overcome the devil by the
blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony; because we loved not our lives unto death."
Scripture tells us that our physical life is
energized by the blood that flows through our veins. If the blood is health our body is healthy. In the spiritual
sense; we were cleansed by the blood of Christ he shed on the cross for our sinful nature and we became clean and blameless
in His sight. Scripture tells us that we were baptized in Christ the day we became born again. The only way I can say
this is; we were baptized or immersed in His blood and we became a new creation in Christ. Not
only has this principle become distorted in the physical but it is being distorted in the spiritual sense also. There
was a time many years ago where they would bleed people to get the sickness out of their bodies. Thank God we have progressed
to the truth of the scriptures and doctors now know that the life is in the blood.
On
the spiritual front; we have denominations water baptizing people when they are infants as if this is going to help a person
go to heaven. We also have people water baptized and totally submerged under water after they have become born again.
I was totally submerged at a church service after I became born again. However, water baptism after become born again
is only to be an outward manifestation of an inward work of our born again baptism in Christ Jesus in the spiritual world.
In forty three years of walking with the Lord; I can only remember one person who has ever tried to explain the true meaning
of our sanctified state and what it means, and I have sat under many, many teachers.
Paul
the Apostle in Gal. 3:26-28 states this. "We are all the children of God by our faith of Christ Jesus.
For as many as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Now therefore, there
is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither male nor female: for we are all one in Christ." There is neither
Catholic, Baptist, Lutheren, Four Square Gospel or any Christian fellowship and i could go on and on.
Paul tells us in Galatians 2:20-21 the reality we must have with a deep understanding if; we
are going to be violent. He states. " I have been crucified with Christ: nevertheless I am physically
alive; yet it is not my life but the life of Christ that lives with in me and the life that I am now living in my physical
body; I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave His life for me. Therefore, I do not
frustrate the grace of God: for if my righteous state comes by trying to obey laws in my own strength;
then Christ died in vain."
To our natural mind it is impossible to truly get a hand hold on what Paul was saying here because;
how can a Christian surrender themselves and let go and let God take over their life and learn to totally rest in His care.
Yet, that is exactly what God is trying to communicate to His Children because; it is His number one priority for us to experience
what a loving Father He is in taking care of our every need. I am talking about security in our finances and an emotionally
stability in our thinking. As we truly learn how to surrender in laying down our lives and letting the Holy Ghost live
big in us; only then will we be able to have a testimony of prophetic utterance; that brings the kingdom of God in power into
the earth. When I say prophetic I mean; letting the Holy Ghost give us His thoughts at all times and speaking them out
of our mouth openly in our arenas of life.
God the Father spoke seven times in
the Book of Genesis and a miracle took place by the working of the Holy Ghost who is the creator and maintainer of all life.
He is the power of God that lives in all of His children, and if the body of Christ will truly teach and preach our sanctified
state that God wants us to walk in; there will be a spiritual revolution of a army of violent children of God that will become
equipped to do the works of Jesus in the earth. I truly believe this with every fiber of my being and my vision with
purpose is the top priority of my life at all times with intensity.
When
we do not have the attitude of being pliable in God's hands and resist change; we love our life more then giving up and,
Christ can not have His perfect way and will in our lives. Dying to self and leaning to our own understanding of scripture
is one if not the main problem of trying to live the Christian life and we must stop trying so hard to be good little Christians
and learn how to rest in Jesus finished work at the cross.
