We have an example in Math. 19:16-22 where a young man came to Jesus and asked Him what he needed to do to have eternal life. I will paraphrase. "Good Master what good thing can I do to get eternal life? And Jesus said to him. Why do you call me good? There is not one good but God: but if you want to enter into eternal life keep the commandments. He said to Jesus, which ones. And Jesus said to him, "don't murder, commit adultery, steal or lie against the truth. Honor you father and mother and love your neighbor as you love yourself. The young man then said. "I have done all these things since I was a child. What am I lacking? Jesus then said to him. If you want to be perfect, go and sell what you have and give it to the poor and you will store up riches in heaven and come and follow me. But when the rich man heard what he said, he walked away because; he had great possessions."

Here is my point. Jesus said that no one is good; but God. Unless our good works are being motivated by the Holy Ghost, there are no good fruitful works of righteousness being performed. This rich man was religious not righteous in God's sight. He was a law keeper not a righteous new created being yielded to the Spirit of God. His life was built on self and he had invested his talents given to him by God in fleshly self centered earned accolade living, that to the outward appearance looked like righteous living however; he was truly self centered rather then being God centered. Our carnal and undisciplined self is a great actor and has a will of its own and wants to do its own thing.

We must recognize that; our carnal nature that died at the cross; wants to come back from the grave and make it self known to us through our fleshly thinking. We must be going through a maturing process of dying to selfish ambition. Only God's righteous spirit of wisdom and power at work in our lives will give us the want to and the power to die to self. You can not do philanthropic self righteous works and hope to die to self because; these type pf works only feeds our carnal nature. Receiving the wisdom of God's word; continually washes our carnal soul from doing dead works with false actions that are not connected to God's plans for our life. If you are a star trek watcher as I am, it's like the mind meld between Spock and some one else. (Two minds becoming one.)

God doesn't want us to be robots; but He wants us to make a willful decision to submit to His leadings not because of feeling obligated but because; we are so much enjoying our relationship with Him and it is exiting to walk in heavenly places with him now; as we explore how to walk in the spiritual dimension with Him. Our kingdom walk with God must become a living reality that we can get in touch with if; we are truly going to bear good fruit through God's nature. I have prophesies and words of wisdom given to me by God over the years; pasted on the walls of my office. And when I get temporarily caught off guard; I remind my self of what God has told me by reading them and it gets me focused and reminds me to "Let go and let God live His life through me."

7. With out partiality:
When one is partial; they have a preference like showing an unfair behavior for one person or thing over another. One of the characteristics of our carnal nature's strengths is; showing partiality. When we walk in the flesh and are not submitted to God's Spirit; our spiritual illumination with God's thoughts get turned off. Solomon the King who God said is the wisest man to ever walk the planet should be believed when he said. "Man is nothing but a beast without God's leadings." This sounds like serious stuff to me and; I am no way going to be a beast to my self or to people that I care about. Now I am stating what partiality represents and God is none of this. Partiality comes with the power we were given by God to "choose this day whom we will serve; the flesh or the spirit."

Jesus told the disciples that He came not to condemn the world but to free the world from its cursed nature and set His creation free to experience His freedom, peace and joy and us knowing that God wants to be our friend. We all talk about the fact that God loves us however; did you ever think that He may like us. I just had a thought; maybe we have to understand being liked by God before we can graduate and know how much God really loves us.

I am truly disturbed to say this and it is not my intent to finger point but; I firmly believe that the churches of today show partiality for people and their gifts or successes rather then preaching the good news of the gospel that tells us; Jesus not only saves us but; He secures our soul from reaping any guilt or condemnation in our lives.

If we are going to show partiality to any one; it must be to Jesus; who laid down His life for His friends and the one who is to be lifted up as a standard in our services and in our personal travels so; He can draw all men unto Him self. I sure hope that God's kids are not seeing Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith through dark colored glasses. Some times through the testimonies I hear; Jesus is only known to them as seeing a mirage in a desert. I wonder at times; how many signs and wonders are happening in services and in the personal life of God's kids.

I also wonder what would happen if Jesus showed up at one of our church services or on one of the many Christian television programs who are teaching one thing or another. Would they give Him a segment of time to sell His particular persuasion? When I watch some Christian television; I wonder how much time Jesus would have to minister and enjoy the festivities by bringing heaven into the mix of activities taking place. I am seriously disturbed by some of the antics taking place in some so called Christian settings and partiality is being honored with people's callings, denominational jargons of adding and deleting to the word of God to their particular factions and using it to fit their own agendas. (This is disgraceful and does not honor God.)

I am sure that this does not make me a popular preacher or teacher of the word of God however; it is time for God's kids to finally seek God's wisdom and His ways and put away their plans and ideas of what they think are God's ways. Some how I really can't believe that some of these God focused seekers really know that; they are preaching another gospel of bondage and lack because they do not understand their righteous position in Christ Jesus. They know that Jesus saves however; then they think it's their responsibility to build God's kingdom. No way. Unless God builds His kingdom; the people will labor in vain in all their efforts in trying to stay holy.

The Greek word for partiality is adiakritos: meaning; we are to have no direct involvement with this spirit and too instantly with draw from these situations because; this type of spirit makes us question our righteous position that we hold in Christ Jesus. The devil comes as a angle of light to steal, kill and destroy and we need Godly wisdom so we can hear the Holy Ghost giving us a inner witness and saying to us; be careful and turn here and let me help you recognize what you have to separate your self from. With out this type of relationship; you become deceived and do not function in the inheritance your Heavenly Father has already given you.

Let's not become naive and go through life like an ostrich with his head in the sand. Our new life in Christ is not to be taken for granted. Jesus had no preferences; He died on the cross for all of mankind. He lived His life by an inner witness from God the Father and did not get caught up with the outward physical manipulations of the devils tricks. That's because He knew who He was and what His purpose was. We can not do anything less.

8. With out hypocrisy:
Our lives should have no false front or have hidden agendas of showing admirable principles, beliefs, or feelings. Anything that is hypocritical is a lying spirit and the devil is the father of lies. We see here that; a person can be a born again child of God and still be in bondage to this type if demonic spirit. I ask the question, why would a child of God live in this denial and phony life style? And also; if a person has really tasted and found that the Lord is good; they would never allow this spirit to take control of them.

Peter tells us in 1Peter 2:9 that, "We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and holy nation. A peculiar people; ( different then what the flesh or the world can offer) and we are to be showing the praises of Him who has called us out of darkness (denial) into the marvelous light of His counsel." If we truly intend to reason with the mind of Christ and with His wisdom; there are a couple of things we need to understand.

Jesus said this in John 3:19-21. I will paraphrase. "The basis of how God judges a man is this. The light (Christ Jesus) has come into the world however; people have loved darkness more them coming into the light of his counsel because; their works (deeds) were being motivated by the evil one. For every one with hidden agendas and false fronts; hates and detests the light and they shrink from the light for fear that; there un-righteous plans and ideas may be exposed and they will be reprimanded. However; he who walks in the truth and follows God's wisdom by coming into the light knows with a inner witness from the Holy Ghost that his life is being motivated and being empowered to live the Christian life because; he knows how to totally depend on God."

If you are a born again child of God, you must have a quality of being and comfortableness to live your life with this sure foundation in place with your relationship with the Holy Ghost. There is no true love relationship between God and His children when; there are hidden agendas in our heart. As I said, hidden agendas come from being mesmerized with the devils lying spirit.

Paul the Apostle in Romans 13:10-14 encourages the Christians there when he tells them. I will paraphrase. "Love does no wrong to his neighbor and never hurts any body. Therefore; love meets all the requirements in us fulfilling obeying God's commandments. Besides this; you must come to the conclusion that; it is high time for you to awake from your spiritual sleep and learn about what is real as far as what God's priorities are for our life. For our salvation (our final deliverance) is nearer to us now then when we first believed; when we began building our life on Jesus finished work of dying on the cross for our sinful nature. Us living in darkness (Or denial) should have been put away a long time ago because; the day is almost here of Jesus returning to the earth. If we really understand this in our heart let us then; fling away any works and deeds of darkness and put on the full armor of light. Live and conduct your self honorably not in revelry, or immorality or in quarrels and being jealous. But; clothe your self with the Lord Jesus Christ and don't supply your mind with any un-righteous thinking which energizes your own fleshly desires."

If there ever was a word of wisdom being spoken to the body of Christ; these verses are what he is saying to his church today. Jesus Christ must be our first love and we must have a passion to make a careful investigation of what our righteous position in Christ represents. Walking in the spirit with God and enjoying His Company should be our first priority and reasonable service with a hunger to obey God just for the pleasure it brings to your self. If we say we love the Lord then; we must have a desire to seek after God's wisdom that is higher then our own. This must be a free will choice and not an attitude of feeling obligated because if we do; we live with the harassment of; worrying about the consequences and penalties you will pay if; you decide to continue to live in your own understanding by making God into your own image.

John the Baptist said it best. "My way of thinking must decrease and Jesus wisdom must increase in my life."
