God told Moses His name and what it represents as He talked to him from with in a living burning bush described in Exodus 3:14-15 which states. "And God said to Moses; I AM THAT I AM and tell this to the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has sent me to you and this is my name for ever and this is the memorial unto all generations."

A memorial is some one who lives with a fixed remembrance of God in their life because; they are have a living loving relationship with Him and they know that; He is the creating author and sustainer of every thing that exists and He never changes. Since God has no beginning or end; our natural mind can not comprehend this because; it thinks in the manner of every thing having a beginning and end. Therefore; if it is our intent to comprehend this God who always was; we must come to know Him personally and have a living dialogue with Him to know His thoughts and plans of why He created us and how we fit into His plan for the universe in the first place.

This burning bush experience that Moses had; was a miraculous encounter because; it was beyond Moses logic and it caused him to put aside his herd given duties to approach this phenomena and see why the bush was not being consumed by the fire. He saw bushes of all kinds in his daily travels and this one stood out. All of our experiences in life have to begin and be sustained through the miraculous presence of God whose love and total purpose is to make Him self known to His creation.

This miraculous encounter must start with a person having a born again experience and allowing the Spirit of God to come and live with in them by accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. An inner witness of this should take place with in you and it introduces you to the invisible world of the spirit that our natural mind can not comprehend. To know God and be able to have a normal conversation with Him; you must be born again PERIOD. Good works don't get you to heaven or trying to live by the Ten Commandments or church attends. There is no other name or way to get to know God who wants to be our Father except through accepting Christ Jesus, who was the first God man after Adam and Eve's fall from God's grace.

Moses was a herdsman by trade and this is how he made his living as he went about his earthly duties; however; God had put a seed of curiosity in him at birth and even though he wasn't quite sure what this represented; he had a desire to do some thing more with his life. This desire was a need to find a greater purpose and since he could not escape this inner desire; when he saw this bush burning that was not being consumed; he turned aside to check it out. All of mankind on this planet is going about their earthly duties in one form or another and since God is the creator of all things; we all have the same seed planted in us from birth whether we recognize it or not and God is trying to influence this seed so we can be motivated and able to come in contact with the creator of all life.

I taught in a private school for ten years. My job was to train insurance adjusters how to do property damage assessment due to fire and storm damage. I enjoyed immensely the opportunity to teach and until then; I never knew I had been gifted by God to be a teacher. I made a good living however; my real purpose from God my Father was to do the work of an Evangelist and win souls to Christ.

Scripture tells us that all of God‘s children in what ever arena of life they find themselves; should be doing the work of an Evangelist where ever they go. Mankind was not put on this planet to live so many years; do their own thing and get caught up with the cares of life and become a god unto them self. Now I said all this to make this point.

In ten years of training I am not quit sure how many thousands of students I trained; I only encountered two who had the boldness to profess their faith in Jesus Christ. Some of the conversations that daily took place in the class room was me through God's leading going on bible history excursions and I had some of the most challenging and rewarding times of my life participating with the Holy Ghost professing my faith in Christ. My profession was that of teaching but my Godly purpose was leading people and directing them to the creator of all life.

All of God's children have the same call

In just sharing one of many classes that I can remember, I took a survey on a class and asked them what they believed in and what was their main core of values that they were building their life on. Even though the answers put me in shock; I became aware that they all had this seed planted in them to find a symbol of power greater then them self. I had always believed that this being America; this country had been evangelized.

With twenty in this class I believed I got a rounded view that I could use as an intelligent standard to believe what I am saying here. The first person's answer was; he believed the ameba was the source of all life and another said God's creation; the trees, mountains etc. Another said they made up rules as they went along Some said I am a Baptist or a Lutheran or some other denomination and one said there was no God just his own human reasoning. However; one of the twenty students stood up and said; he was a born again Christian and he had given his life over to Jesus Christ. During the two week course; he led one of the students to Christ at the hotel where they were staying.

With all the Christian programming on TV and all the churches on every corner in the market places of life; I have a deep concern if the true gospel is really being preached with the anointing of the Holy Ghost on it. With all the many teachings that I have heard over the years from different denominations and factions you would have to believe that God; has been divided into pieces and there are different truths and interpretations of scripture being taught.

Scripture tells us that; we must be careful what comes in our eye and ear gate so that we are not serving other God's trying to take the place of our Heavenly Father if we are born again. I have to come to the conclusion that the scripture is correct when it says; "In the last days; there will be people who will apostatize and follow doctrines of devils rather then following the one true God."

If God said "I Am that I Am" and this is the memorial that must be past down to all generations; what has mankind done? It's obvious that they are making God into their own image and becoming a god unto them self. Man kind's fallen nature that he was born with; has no other choice if they don't know God personally then to become addicted to finding ways to survive and deal with a hostile world environment controlled by demonic forces out to destroy all of God's handy work.

There is a stabilizing security that wells up in me at times when in my daily travels with my thoughts about life and the purposes, desires, needs and wants; to just stop and get quiet; and I can hear God say to me " I am here; what is it that you're searching for." I believe that what God says should not be the first priority but; it must be the constant awareness of his presence and know that; no matter what transpires in our life nothing can pluck us out of His hand and holding power.

Paul tells us in Phil. 4:6-7 "Do not fret or have anxiety over anything; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving; continue to make your wants known unto God and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will garrison and mount a guard around your heart and mind through Christ Jesus."

I am convinced that; the thing mostly needed in my life and the life of all believers is the peace of God that passes our own understanding. Peace only comes because we are already convinced that; our father who is the I AM THAT I AM has not changed His love for us and has already given us our supply of needs and wants above all that we need and can hope for. However; because we don't know how to raid the ice box or God's store house in faith to enjoy our inheritance and supply, it's hard to thank God ahead of time before we see the physical evidence of our prayers being answered. The peace of God must always come first and be our first priority before physical evidence.

Because this has not been taught properly and understood by God's kids; it has caused them to scurry and work hard at taking care of their needs in their own sufficiency and toiling has become the norm rather then rest, peace and the sweetness of God's presence and experiencing the one who nourishes our soul, which represents (our mind will and emotions)

What has happened is; the spirit of fear and strife has wormed it's way into the fabric of society to the point that; even the born again believer rather then being the salt and light to this generation; have imploded from with in to some safe haven of emotional security that looks good however; God's true breathe which is the Spirit of I AM THAT I AM of what the Hebrew word represents; can not have it's total way in God wanting to be our yoke bearer and the guardian of our soul.

When a born again believer lives with a thankful heart and makes melody unto the Lord in all things as scripture tells us; it acts as rain falling on a crop and letting it grow and produce the fruit of its kind.

Jesus tells us in Math. 11:29-30. "Take my yoke upon you. And learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your soul because; my yoke is easy and my burden light." If there ever was a time that we desperately needed to understand what Jesus meant here; it is never more needed then now in these chaotic times that we are living in.

To my natural mind at times; I have to totally surrender to the Holy Ghost's leadings because; the devil tries to get me to believe that; prestige, money, power and me being able to succeed in my own strength is a place of safety and security in the world that we live in. Just this last week my daughter told me that she had a conversation with one of her friends who doesn't know the Lord yet and she said "only people who are insecure run to God for help." It's obvious this woman has some unresolved issues and doesn't know the I Am that I Am.

If you are familiar with some of the stories in the books of Math, Mark, Luke and John; we see how Jesus dealt with people He came to save and deliver into His Father's kingdom. Before He was crucified; He entered the city riding a donkey not some great carriage with an entourage of body guards but with simple men trying to fulfill the seed God put in them at birth to find their ultimate destiny. They were traveling the high ways and by ways as He went about doing His heavenly Father's business. He was always mindful that God His Father the I AM THAT I AM was motivating and empowering Him and he had learned to not lean to His own understanding BUT TO TRUST AND CAST ALL of His care on His Father's faithfulness.

At times as I ponder His walk and how he trusted in God His Father; it boggles my mind how He did it already knowing that; His lot in life and purpose as He entered the city; was to die a gruesome death on the cross for us who were sinners and alienated from God.

Let me be perfectly honest; I over the years have panicked over paying the bills, sickness that could have caused me and the ones I love to die, all kinds of rejection from people who I have tried to help, tried to find acceptance with people that I thought were prosperous, and fears of one kind or another.

Having these trials does not mean; a person is weak and he needs God to deal with life. These are all the things we encounter in our endeavor to find security and find purpose and we must allow the Holy Ghost to keep our mind stayed on God because; He knew before hand the number of our days; the gifts he put in us at birth, us coming to understand that He must be the orchestrater of our life by His power and He wants to be the guardian of our soul. He birthed us into a hostile environment at this time and era of turmoil to show the wondrous works of His grace (His unmerited favor towards us.)

What we have here in Jesus is a spirit of meekness. A meek man knows that He has limitation on accomplishing any God given goals. God's children who are born again can only be a salt and light to this generation because; they are surrendering and laying down their life to let the Holy Ghost do miraculous things in their life so God can get the glory. Whom God calls; he also empowers.

It is my fervent prayer that as you are reading this; it is bringing you into a deeper need to "let go and let God" have his total way in your life to do His will. When we allow meekness to have its perfect way; we exhibit a more quite and trusting nature.

Jesus was humble because; He was modest, unassuming in attitude and behavior. He showed respect and put other people's interests first as compared to the world's philosophy. He also came across relatively low in rank and without pretense showing humble origins. These were all traits given to Him by His Heavenly Father.

Jesus being God's first son is the perfect example of what a memorial relationship with God represents. Since Christ lived in Him; He allowed the I AM THAT I AM to live to His fullest in His heart and actions. He was constantly being persuaded to not lean to His own understanding and he did not run from the fact that; to obey God's divine will for His life; He had to die on the cross. Did you ever seriously consider how in the world He could do this in His own strength? He couldn't: it was absolutely impossible.
