In his life time; he became an adulterer and a murderer. Think about this; because; God still said he was a man after His own heart. I don't think in the majority of born again churches this is truly understood because with our natural thinking we are taught that; he was a sinner and God hates sin. He hates what the sin entity does to His children and He never hates His children. Are you still with me? Our goal must be to truly come to understand that; since we have been born again our heart has been changed by the miracle of our second birth and the Holy Ghost representing Jesus now sits in that inner man wanting to be in control of our destiny and we must learn to let Him have the freedom to pray for us.

Over the years I have met some wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ and we have had great fellowship although we have had different beliefs. Coming from a Pentecostal back ground we believe in the gift given to us by God to speak in tongues as the Holy Ghost gives us the utterance to speak in a language that our mind does not understand. I received the gift after seeking it after I accepted Jesus as my Savior. Even though our mind does not understand it; we can ask the Holy Ghost and He will give us the interpretation of these words to our understanding.

The sad thing that grieved me was these wonderful born again believers that I fellowshipped with told me that; a person who speaks in tongues is possessed by the devil. I was a young Christian in those days and I was taken aback and extremely grieved. I can't help wondering over these many years; how many of God‘s born again family also think that tongues are of the devil? You talk about grieving the Spirit of God. WOW

In Romans 8:26-27 Paul tells us, "The spirit helps us in our lack of strength (infirmities): for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit Him self makes intercession for us with moanings and groanings which can not be uttered. And He that searches the heart knows what's in the heart of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God."
Many times in our life we go through some situation that are difficult and involve hardship. When we learn how to let go and let God come to our aid through the Holy Ghost, there will be an inner groaning that comes out of us as a sigh of relief. I believe Jesus experienced this in the garden of Gesemani when He sweat drops of blood knowing that His destiny was to go to the cross for mankind and God the Father sent angels to minister to Him.

Now hear me. David was a man after God's own heart however; he did not have the Holy Ghost in him because; the Holy Ghost was not given to mankind until Jesus left the earth. This is told many times through out the New Testament and you need to check it out for your self. Now when we had our born again experience and became this new creature in Christ; we were forgiven once and for all by Christ's sacrifice. And we can no longer sin against God because 1 Cor. 13 tells us that; "God's love is patient, kind, is not envies or brags. It is not easily provoked; it thinks no evil to no one. It does not rejoice when it sees people suffering. It tells the truth at all times and believes the best for every one, endures all things and it never end."

If you have a true witness of this kind of love that God has for you by the Holy Ghost then; you must also believe what Paul said in Romans 4: 7-8 " Blessed and happy and to be envied is the man whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered up and completely buried. Blessed and happy and to be envied is the person of whose sin the Lord will TAKE NO ACCOUNT NOR RECKON IT AGAINST HIM"

I said earlier that we had a superimposition miracle take place in us the day we became God's child and when God the Father looks at us He sees us justified and clean in His sight. Be patient and bear with me as I will use another scripture to reinforce what I am saying and there are many.

Paul in Hebrews 10:14-19 says this. "For by Jesus one offering He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy. And also the Holy Spirit adds His testimony and confirms this to our heart because; He validates this in saying; this is the agreement that I will set up and conclude with them after those days says the Lord: I will imprint My laws upon their hearts and I will inscribe them on their minds and their inner most thoughts. Now where there is absolute forgiveness and cancellation of the penalty of these sins and lawbreaking; there is no longer any more offerings needed to atone for them. Therefore; we can have full freedom and confidence to enter into the holies of Holies by the power and virtue of being washed clean by the blood of Christ Jesus."

Ask your self this question. "Do you really believe that; no matter how many times you judge your self and think you have messed up that; you are always forgiven and God the Father always sees you as pure and perfect in His sight?" If you do not truly know this by having a spiritual revelation from the Holy Ghost then; the Holy Ghost is grieving over you. Jesus atonement for our sinful nature took care of any way we can sin against God. If there is any evil spirit running ramped with in the born again church it is that; the majority of the born again church is teaching on behavioral qualifications of law and rituals and have God's kids focused on their short comings and oppressive faults which they define as sin which is really a study of the origin, development, and structure of human societies and the behavior of individual people and groups.

The question I hear from time to time. "Are you self actualized which is all flesh thinking." This is a Christian being asked if; they are doting all their I's and crossing all their T's in cleaning up their act which is what most people believe to be the Christian norm. Didn't Jesus die to deliver us from self? Isn't He supposed to be the one being lifted up and worshipped for His completed sacrifice and are we truly letting Christ live again in us and letting God be the self actualizer.

Now if God's love says we are forgiven and He does not take offense against us because He sees us as saints not sinners any more; why won't His children believe Him? Well; it must be that they have brain damage or they can't read and rightly interpret scripture through the Holy Ghost doing the interpreting or they are living in deliberate sin and rebellion or is it that; they have never grown up in the grace and the true knowledge of God because no one has taken the time to help set God's people free in the liberty of the cross by teaching the true meaning of the gospel of Christ.

At the Catholic Church that I was raised in the first twenty five years of my life; my righteousness in Christ was never taught. The second church which was a born again church that I ministered in as an elder; I was also never taught it. At that time which was thirty five years ago I was told to leave the church by the Pastor because; we couldn't come into agreement on what he was preaching. God love him; he has gone on to his eternal reward.

Back then I had no clue of how much I was truly loved by God and that He had a purpose for my life beyond my wildest expectations. I love to have fellowship and will go any where they are teaching my total completeness in Christ Jesus. In the forty five years that I have been born again; if you come to my house to break bread; we gather with the Holy Ghost and we invite Him at the table and make Jesus our central theme.

You can't give God enough praise when he reminds you of how far out of the pit of the pig pen of life He has saved you from and continually saves us because; we and He knows that; we can become our worst enemy. An ignorant Christian who doesn't know the difference between being a sinner or a saint is their worst enemy and they are harming or sinning against them self and not against God. Let's go on and explore this concept of sinning against one self a little more.

Now scripture does tell us that; all Christians have to learn how to deal with their own oppressive faults. However; there is a huge difference between people being accused of sinning verses having oppressive faults. Faults exert worrying and burdensome pressure on a person. This causes them to live in a sin consciecness because they concentrate their efforts on having to obey laws and worrying and examine their conscience on how many times they have broken God's law or some law that they have put on them self at the end of the day. It really is a worshiping of self and living with an obligated spirit of self abuse with a measuring up man made philosophy. This is in deed mentally fatiguing and debilitating.

This type thinking spiritually dehydrates a person which causes them to never truly walk in their freedom in Christ Jesus. Simply put; sin consciousness causes us to live under a LAW DRIVING TASK MASTER. Scripture tells us; "as a man reasons in his own heart; that is how his behavior is formed." Think of yourself as a sinner; your behavior follows suit. Think of your self as a saint and your behavior follows suite.

Having oppressive faults are areas where we are weak and represent our normal growing pattern. It is the maturing process and this is where the Holy Ghost wants to stand in the gap until we become strong in those areas of weakness and we learn to let go and let God love on us. That's why scripture tells us that; we need to visit each other in our homes and break bread and also have the Lord‘s supper together and confess or discuss with each other those areas that are weak and where we need more wisdom to cope with our limited wisdom and pray one for another.

When we live with the awareness that we are saints and not sinners after our born again experience that's because; we are letting the Holy Ghost making us aware of our spotless condition in God's sight and letting Him love on us because; He is minute by minute keeping us totally focused and riveted on our relationship with Him and we are hearing every word that comes out of His mouth to our inner man. Again when we grieve the Holy Ghost; we are sinning against our self and not against God because; Jesus took care of that by dying on the cross and we are forever forgiven because by becoming this new creation in Christ; God's love never takes offense and is unending.

However; by not being enlightened by the Holy Ghost and truly having a inner witness of this; you can not freely flow in the love of God and love your self as God does because; you live in shame, guilt and unworthiness in some area of your life. When a person lives like this; they harm their soul which represents their (intellect, will and emotions) and they live below their position as a child of God and have no boldness to truly look God in the face in their relationship and, they live in a twilight zone as I have said between a rock and a hard place.

The Greek definition for a person who has a sin mentality is one who is not functioning in their inheritance given to them by God their Father the day they had their new birth experience. As I have said; this happens because; they lack the true meaning of the knowledge of the scriptures and are unlearned and I am sad to say that; there are those who are God's children who are deliberately living in rebellion against God; which causes both the unlearned and the flat our disobedient to live as cripples as God's children. This is indeed a far cry for those who are preaching that; a person goes to hell for their sins or goes to heaven because of their good works. If there ever was a doctrine of devils being preached; this is the one that's running ramped in the world and in the churches of today. Going to heaven or hell is only dependent on whether a person has accepted Jesus sacrifice and has become born again PERIOD.

Also; our functioning in our inheritance which God already gave us depends on; our surrendering and dying to self and letting Christ Jesus live again in us as we trust Him with a child like innocents mentality and let Him deliver us from any baggage we have picked up in our wilderness wanderings in trying to find our identity and purpose in any other thing then; God‘s fail safe scheme of things.
